- Mrs Annie Ruth Moran, 73, Kingsport, died Tuesday (Aug 15, 1989) at St Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, GA.
- A native of Union City, Tenn., Mrs Moran was member and teacher at the First Baptist Church of Kingsport. She was a teacher of the Young Ladies' class at First Baptist Church in Union City, and was a past president of the Women's Missionary Union.
- She was a member of Reelfoot Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, served as regent of Long Island Chapter DAR and as chairman of numerous state committees of the organization.
- She was the daughter of the late, Walker L. Martin and Mrs. Myrah Amanda Nash Martin.
- Surviving are her husband, James Moran, Kingsport; two daughters, Ms. Kitt Martin Hart, Dekalb Ill., and Mrs Belenda Hart Hawkins, Memphis; a sister Mrs Mary Jane Duncan, Savannah, GA.
- Services and burial were conducted August 18 in Union City Tenn.
- A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday at First Baptist Church, Kingsport, with the Rev. Frank Hawkins officiating. (From www.findagrave.com)

- Mrs. Alberta Allen was born on April 3, 1918 in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Hinton Greene and Alberta Martin Kittrell. Alberta worked for many years at the University of Arizona. She enjoyed volunteering at the Community Food Bank. She loved flowers and playing bridge. Alberta had a deep love for the arts. She was a very giving and unconditionally loving Christian woman.
- Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughters, Virginia Kwolek and Ann Allen; grandson, Queston Kwolek; brother, Hinton Kittrell; and many other family and friends.
- Mrs. Allen was 92 years old and a resident of Tucson, Arizona. She passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Peppies House Hospice in Tucson.
- Graveside services for Mrs. Allen will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Lawrence Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating.
- The Allen Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
