Margaret Ellen Harness, age 62, Ringgold Rd, Somerset, passed away on January 27, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on March 22, 1944 to Floradell Meece and the late Lloyd W. Meece. She was employed by Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital as a mental health technician. She enjoyed and loved working with patients and her co-workers.
Survivors include her mother, Floradell Meece, Somerset; her son, Rick (and Lana) Harness, Somerset; a daughter, Joy (and Danny) Karriker, Eubank, Ky.; a brother, Wendell Meece, Somerset; a sister, Diane Rowe, Somerset; a grandson, Josh Campbell; and a special friend, Gerald Wesley.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Harness and her father, Lloyd Meece.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2007 at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Austin Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Ringgold Cemetery, Somerset, Ky.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2007 after 6 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
