- In my searching for information of my father, Arthur Page Gough, Sr., I found a document on Google indicating his graduation from the University of Maryland Law School in Baltimore, MD, on June 1, 1915, at the Lyric [Theater]. The commencement speaker was the Hon. William Jennings Bryan, Secretary of State. Another graduate was John William Chesley of Charles County, MD.
- My father was god father of John Chesley's son. I believe he was also named John Chesley. I do remember that the Chesleys were part of the fabric of the extended family in Southern Maryland. (Gough* - personal communication on 20 Feb 2012)
