- Joyce B. Jumper, 79, of Tiffin, died at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at St. Francis Nursing Home in Tiffin.
- Joyce was born Oct. 20, 1928, to Louis and Xeno (Yundt) Brickner. Following the death of her mother, Joyce was adopted by Richard and Bernice (Yundt) Roberts. She married Russell L. Jumper in Tiffin on March 20, 1948.
- Survivors include her daughter, Gloria (Stephen) Eidt of Tiffin; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; three step-great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Roberts and C.R. Roberts, both of Tiffin; and a special cousin, Doris Bohrer, also of Tiffin.
- Joyce was a homemaker, active in Girl Scouts, taught Sunday school and was a graduate of Columbian High School.
- She was preceded in death by her parents, adoptive parents, husband, a brother, an infant sister and a grandchild.
- A memorial service is to be held at a later date at the St. Francis Home Chapel. Engle - Shook Funeral Home in Tiffin is in charge of arrangements.
