Woodman A. Clayton [Male] b. AUG 1868 Pineville, Bucks Co., PA - d. AFT APR 1930
Updated: 20 FEB 2012
Person ID: 2132

I do not know how much Clayton was worth. At one time he was a successful business man, generous with his family and left his wife a home and a fortune at this death. He was first interested in the Union Petroleum of Phila. This he sold to the Sinclair Oil Co., of which he was a Vice-President, until he withdrew his interest to form a Company Of his own. This was called "The Ace-Wood Petroleum Company”, of which he was president...until his retirement a year before his death. This Company was not a part of the Richfield Co. In which so much money was lost. He was also one of the promoters of the "Mid Continental Petroleum Co., and was still a Director at the time of his death. (Woodman*)
